How to contact Amazon Customer Services

If you wish to speak to someone at Amazon, you have two options available. You can give them a ring and resolve your query over the phone. Alternatively, you can log into your www.Amazon.co.uk account. We have provided full details on both options below.

Do note that Amazon is an online business only. That means there are no physical stores in the UK. Nor is there a postal address available to customers.

Amazon UK Contact Phone Number

If you would like to speak to an Amazon customer services advisor, you can call the number 0843 850 2089. This telephone number is available 24 hours, 7 days a week.

When you dial the Amazon UK contact number you will reach an automated system. This allows you to state the nature of your call or what department your query relates to. You will then connect with a customer services representative at Amazon.

This number will likely connect you to the Amazon Bristol phone number, where the new warehouse is located.

The contact number we have provided allows you to speak to advisors about any of the services and products listed below.

  • www.Amazon.co.uk customer orders
  • Payments and refunds
  • Gift cards
  • Kindle queries
  • Amazon Prime
  • Account problems
  • Fraud concerns
  • Security issues

You might appreciate that Amazon also offers a callback feature. The ‘call me now’ means that a representative can call you to discuss your situation. You will need to complete a series of questions before Amazon will log your request and task an advisor to call you back.

On the other hand, you can seek support via the Amazon website.

For starters, Amazon has an online help centre where you will find advice relating to common customer issues. Alongside this, there is a section where you can browse a wide range of support topics. You can either type in your own query or browse the Frequently Asked Questions.

If this yields no suitable results, Amazon also offers an automated chatbot. You must be logged in to use this service. Once you’re there, click on the ‘start chatting now’ button and the service will launch. Type in your problem as concisely and coherently as you can. If the bot is unable to help you, it will redirect to to a human being.

Last but not least, Amazon has a Twitter account where you can get quick answers to simple problems. The social media team are available 24/7.

Naturally, you should take caution not to tweet any personal, account, financial or login details. Amazon will never ask you for this type of information on Twitter.

How do Amazon deliveries work?

If you are a member of Amazon Prime, you are entitled to free, fast shipping in the vast majority of cases.

On the other hand, if you are not a Prime member, you may need to pay a delivery fee. When you pay for an item in your Amazon shopping basket, you will see the options available – usually, you can choose between standard and express delivery. However, many products sold on Amazon do come with free delivery.

You can find all the answers to how Amazon deliveries work on the delivery page.

Can I return an Amazon order?

Indeed, you may return Amazon orders providing the item has not been used or damaged.

You will need to log into your Amazon account and check the terms of the seller you purchased from. Each vendor has different terms regarding returns. Follow our step by step guide on how to return an Amazon Order:

  1. Visit the ‘recent orders’ tab in your account.
  2. Select the item you wish to return and click either ‘Return’ or ‘Replace Item’.
  3. Choose your reason from the drop-down menu.
  4. Select how you wish to handle the return. In most cases you will either choose ‘refund’ or ‘replacement’.
  5. Once your option has been accepted you can post your item to the returns address provided by Amazon. Please note that the authorisation may take a few days.
